A single message can crash your iPhone!

It seems there are too many bugs on iOS! Previously android used to have bugs but now Apple has taken the charge to bugify its own OS! Now, there is a new bug in iPhone again! A few days back we shared a video about another crashing bug in iOS. Now there’s again another bug present in the OS.

Another bug in iOS can crash your iPhone with a single message!

Youtuber EverythingApplePro has brought this bug to surface, claiming that this bug can freeze your phone for a maximum 3 minutes, later back to life automatically.

In his video, he demonstrates the bug.

He just simply inputs a white flag icon, a 0 and a rainbow emoji from his own phone and sends to another phone. After receiving the message, the other phone freezes instantly, showing no pop-up notifications. This eventually sends the phone to freeze state, causing it to crash instantly without any warning!

The Guardian reports that this bug affects iOS 10.2 and below up to iOS 8. However, the other version of this bug, which is, embed this string on a contact file, share it on iMessage via iCloud, affects all iOS 10.2 devices.

Vincent Desmurs, who discovered this bug, in his blog mentions;
“When your victim clicks on the message, their Messages app will attempt to load a large amount of data that causes the system malfunction. However, the text in the file is very complicated for the system and causes a CPU average and freezing the app. If you close the app and try to reopen it, iOS will try to reload the previous message but can’t because it’s the same file containing too much text for the system to handle properly.”

An audio distortion in Pixel, confirms Google

Have you been facing a distortion while playing favorite music? Especially on Google Pixel? Well, the tech giant finally has something to say about the matter. No need to panic, as this is a hardware fault on some device.

Google admits that there is a fault in the hardware of Pixel

Sorry Pixel users, but this a bad news. There is a hardware fault in some of the Pixel devices. This fault leads to distortion of audio while playing games, music or videos. This matter cannot be solved by a firmware update.

Mark ‘badmark’ Buckman, last month asked for a refund for the Pixel, which has the same kind of problem.

However, prior to that, the company already stopped refunding, instead, started giving off warranty replacement to the manufacturing defective products.

In a mail, which is spotted by PhoneArena, the Google Store representative mentions about it, being a hardware fault, not a software.

Prior to this news, many users have reported the same problem in the community forum. One of them reads:
“At first, I thought it was my headphones, so I put on my noise cancellation headphones and the same issue. Then I thought, ok maybe it’s a bad headphone jack so I paired my Jabra Sports headphones, same issue. Then I just played the music out of the speaker itself and it still happened.”

The company is aware of the problem and investigating about it.

Not only this, many users are also facing freezing camera issues, Bluetooth pairing issues, LTE issues, other than audio distortion.

Huawei launches P8 Lite – an upgraded version.

Everyone heard of Huawei’s P8 Lite, launched two years back? Is it? Last Year we saw its upgraded version, P9 Lite. This year, we have P8 Lite. Again? Yes, but an upgraded version – with a new processor, specifications and so on.

The new P8 Lite has everything better than 2015 model.

Let’s now discuss the device in depth!

Huawei launches upgraded P8 Lite

The new P8 Lite is slightly better than P9 Lite. The name is quite confusing, though. Within a few weeks the company might launch P10 Lite, so why P8? Why not another version of P9?

Leave it, that’s not in our hands.

The P8 Lite2017 comes with company’s own Kirin 655 Octa-Core processor, coupled up with 3GiB of RAM. The display sports a 5.2-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1080x1920p. For storage, we have 16GiB of onboard storage & is expandable up to 128GiB SD card. The device will run on Android Nougat 7.0 & Emotion UI running on top of it.

As for the camera, we will get a 12-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a LED flash whereas an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

It is a dual-SIM device, capable of supporting LTE networks, has WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC.

There is a 3000mAh battery to power the device and has a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel.

The device is, as I said above, is a nicely upgraded model of the same name launched in 2015. But as compared to P9 Lite, the device has a negligible upgrade i.e the processor. The P9 Lite has Kirin 650 Octa-Core processor.

As per pricing, P8 Lite 2017 will have a price tag of € 239 (approx ₹ 17,300) which is higher than 2015 model. It will be available in the German market in Black Color at the end of January. A single-SIM variant with White and Gold color option is expected to launch in coming weeks.

FreeCharge Partners With Indus OS To Launch Recharge 2.0 Platform

Multilingual domestic operating system brand Indus OS has done  partnership with FreeCharge yesterday and launched a new digital payment platform ie Recharge 2.0

The platform will allow users to recharge via FreeCharge by just one tap access on the Indus phone dialler.

The Indus OS dialler app constantly show prepaid balance, as well as the cost of each call without dialing any code to check the balance. This is so simple as soon as you tap on dialler app to call someone you know how much exact balance you have.

Users can also set a threshold such that if the balance falls below the threshold limit then the user can just tap once and it will help him to recharge via FreeCharge app then and there.

“Both FreeCharge and Indus Os believe that they will see 20%-30% growth as people are now choosing the digital methods and what could be more simple than this one.”
